Who Receives Fan Alerts

Fan Alerts are sent to Bandsintown users who:

  • Follow artists on your lineup

  • Are located near your festival

Bandsintown automatically handles targeting based on the artists on your lineup and festival location, so your alerts go to the fans most likely to buy.

Measuring Fan Alert Performance

You can track the performance of your Fan Alerts directly from the Insights page. You’ll see:

  • Total Email & Push Alerts Sent – the number of alerts sent across the entire festival

  • Total Email & Push Alert Opens – the percentage of fans who have opened the alerts

  • Total Email & Push Alert Clicks – the percentage of fans who have clicked through the alerts

From the Insights page, you can also review sent fan alerts and view what was previously sent.
